Prerequisite
- Completed vocational training as a machining mechanic (m/f/d)
- Willingness to work 3 shifts (early/late/night)
Area of responsibility
- Independent setup and operation of CNC-controlled lathes (in particular, setting machine values and creating programs taking into account parameters, coordinates, and reference points)
- Evaluation of technical documentation, drawings, parts lists, and standards manuals
- Selection of tools, clamping and testing equipment, as well as auxiliary and operating materials
- Manufacture of workpieces taking into account shape, dimensional, and material properties
- Documentation of the processing history
- Monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes
- Implementation of program corrections
- Checking and ensuring production quality through visual, dimensional, shape, and position checks
- Maintenance and care of tools and machines
- Performing minor repairs
- Disposal of coolants, lubricants, metal chips, and other waste products in accordance with company environmental protection regulations
