Dear reader,
It’s not quite clear where the German economy is heading. Seldom have forecasts varied as much as in this year. Even the VDMA has registered a certain consumer caution which should improve if foreign demand remains on the current high level. We expect things to improve slowly but continuously in the last six months of the year. At this point I am very pleased to introduce my successor, Dr. Thomas Manth. Dr. Manth has been working together with me as managing director since the 1st April 2013. We will continue to lead Gebr. Steimel together until autumn. Then Thomas Manth will take the helm and I will finally retire.

New: Gear pump type SF with double pressure relief valve
Steimel pumps with extra safety
The double pressure relief valve of the SF / SFE 10 Steimel gear pump
protects the pump and the motor in both pumping directions against overloading.
For example, fields of application for the pumps are tank systems in which the pumps are used for filling and emptying. In this case, the new valves offer a simple and economically attractive solution for pressure relieving in the event of a fault caused by a blocked pressure line in your system.
Steimel offers a useful option that contributes to system safety and saves costs.

Gebr. Steimel now offers the option of upgrading existing Robot-Polar systems to integrate scales into the transport facility. The function extension provides control over the actual disposal quantity and documents the net weight of the container to a printer

EMO 2013 trade fair / Hannover
Gebr. Steimel continues with its successful participation at EMO trade fairs in previous years and will be presenting itself again from 16th - 21st September 2013 at the EMO in Hannover. On 60 m² of floor space, we will be exhibiting products for parts and swarf treatment to the metalworking industry as well as lubricant and feed pumps of different types. You will find us in hall 7 at booth B49.

Steimel develops and manufactures individual pumps
The most modern software is used to design and develop the layout according to the individual application criteria of our customers.
In the process, the adaptation of our pumps to your plant as well as the determination of the ideal operating points for the respective application is taken into consideration.
Our experienced engineers and technicians work with the aim of achieving a high efficiency in order to increase energy efficiency with a reduction of noise emission at the same time.
Thus, subjects, such as flow analysis and cavitation examinations are assisted by a close co-operation with universities and institutes.
With respect to lifetime, we carry out tests on our test benches in the company, and alternatively we offer to carry out tests directly on your plant with your medium. |
